| | John Larson has been a freelance drummer/percussionist/educator in the Central Illinois area for the past 30 years. He performed regularly as a member of the Adam Larson Quartet, the Adam Larson "Not So Big Band", the Illinois Central "Jazz Train Orchestra", the State Farm Employees Association Big Band and has performed with the CIJS house band on and off for the past 10 years. He has taught several of Central Illinois current jazz stars including, Kevin Hart, Tim Brickner, Nikki Whittaker and Matt Wilson. He is the current director of the Normal Community H.S Jazz Ensembles and is program director for Jazz Futures Workshops in Central Ilinois. |
