| | Lead by talented pianist Sean Parsons, the PCM Trio is a tight, high-energy jazz group specializing in mad, furious arrangements of fabulous jazz standards, as well as intriguing and articulate originals. The relentless Toby Curtright tears through bass lines, infusing hip grooves where none would have thought possible. The battery of the group has seen a number of very hep cats brandishing sticks: Andy Lashock is a Chicago boy with tasty lip-smacking chops. Jeff Magby, a Champaign-Urbanite, is a first-call in West-Central IL. Tom Marko is the newest Director of Jazz Studies at IL State University over in Bloomington. The PCM Trio has also had the privilege of being featured with numerous IL jazz stars such as Chip McNeill, Jeff Helgesen, Larry Harms, Glenn Wilson and Todd Kelly.
