| The jazz band, 'Harmony in Blue' presents a variety of swing era favorites, such as Duke Ellington's 'Don't Get Around Much Any More,' Count Basie's 'All of Me,' and an original arrangement of 'America, the Beautiful' inspired by the Ray Charles' version. Under the direction of TSgt Rand McFarland, local members of the band include SSgt Jim Walker, a resident of Peoria and a graduate student at Illinois State University, SrA Cherilee Walker, assistant professor of music at Illinois Central College, and SrA Jacob Hopping, a student at Bradley University. |
