| | I have extensive music live performance and sound reinforcement experience since before High School growing up gigging on piano, bass, and drums with my dad's country swing band. I play all styles from country, blues, rock, funk, jazz and Contemporary Christian music. I have touring experience, and played keyboard tracks on numerous albums. I have worked with Blues artists voted in the Iowa Blues hall of fame, one country singer with #1 CMT videos, and have opened for numerous National acts of all styles. Upon moving to the area, I played with the 80s cover band Mister Sister and now work with a Blues group named Chicken Shack and horn band JC and the Redemption. I have a jazz performance piano degree from the University of Iowa and Berklee. I have education degrees from DePaul and a Masters from the University of Northern Iowa. I am a vocal and band teacher in the Illinois State University Lab Schools and Music Director at St. Luke Union Church in Bloomington.
